Primarily focused on potatoes, cucumber, tomatoes and other vegetable crops, seed systems, some fruit crops, intercropping, varietal selection, organic amendments in soil, climate change and post-harvest research. Led to recommend for release of potato variety 'Khumal Vikash' from National Potato Research Program and 3 varieties of Gladiolus flower (Lumle Gladiolus 1, Lumle Gladiolus 2 and Lumle Gladiolus 3) from Directorate of Agricultural Research, Lumle; on behalf of the research teams. Significant achievements in verifying and disseminating plastic house technology for off-season vegetable production in western Nepal since 2001.
