The author was born on 15th Baishakh, 2031 B.S. in Sandhikharkha-6, Arghakhanchi, Nepal, as the eldest son of Mr. Thakur Prashad Acharya and Mrs. Dil Kumari Acharya. He completed his SLC in 2047 B.S. from Shiba Madan Madhyamik Vidhyalaya, Satineta, and pursued Intermediate in Agriculture from Siba Pati Inter College, India, in 1994. He earned a B.Ed. in Economics and Health Education from Kathmandu Shiksha Campus in 1999 and later completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture with Animal Science from HICAST, Kathmandu, in 2010. He further obtained an M.Sc. in Animal Science, specializing in Livestock Production and Management, from Agriculture and Forestry University, Rampur, during 2013–2015.
Professionally, he served as a Coordinator and Instructor at IDEA, Pokhara (1995–1999), and joined NARC in 1999 as a Junior Technician. He worked at RARS Lumle, later becoming a Technical Officer (T-6), and then moved to the National Cattle Research Program, Rampur. Promoted to Senior Technical Officer (T-7), he continued until 2020 before transferring to the National Goat Research Program, Bandipur. Since January 2023, he has been serving as a Senior Technical Officer (T-8). He has participated in various trainings and published over fifteen scientific and technical papers.
