Government of Nepal, Ministry of Agricultural and Livestock Development has been appointed Dr. Surendra Lal Shrestha as the acting Executive Director of the NARC effective from 2080/11/13. Dr. Shrestha is specialized in Horticulture discipline. His main works were focused on the development of vegetable farming technology. He has a long time experience in the field of Agricultural research and development. Before this appointment, he was working as the Director, National Agriculture Research Institute. He had also worked as the chief of National Horticulture Research Centre. The newly appointed Executive director has a number of publications in the national and international journals.
