Dr. Dhruba Raj Bhattarai has been designated as the acting Executive Director of the NARC effective from 2080/02/31. Dr Bhattarai is specialized in Horticulture discipline. His main works are focused on the development of vegetable farming technology. He has a long time experience in the field of Agricultural research and development. Before this appointment, he was working as the Director, Crop and Horticulture. He had also worked as the chief of National Outreach Research Centre before. The newly appointed Executive director has a number of publications in the national and international journal. He has also published a number of Books related to his discipline.
Addressing the welcome session at NARC, Dr. Bhattarai told, “There is a need to drastically strengthen agricultural research in the country “. He further added “Scientists will be directed and motivated in the development of the need based technology”.
