The Cabinet meeting of the Government of Nepal held on 2082/2/12, appointed Dr. Krishna Prasad Timsina as the Executive Director of the Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC).
Dr. Timsina is specialized in Agricultural Economics. He has a long time experience in the field of Agricultural research. Before this appointment, he was working as a Chief, National Agricultural Policy Research Center under NARC. The newly appointed Executive Director has more than 15 years of under NARC.
Dr. Timsina completed his PhD in 2015 from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. He pursued his post-doctoral research at Charles Sturt University in Australia and New Mexico State University in the United States.
Addressing the welcome session at NARC, Dr. Timsina said that “he would take NARC to new heights. He said that he would move forward in coordination with everyone”.
